Meet Elana Bodner, MS, CNS, LDN, CDN
Elana Bodner is a passionate and dedicated board-certified Clinical Nutritionist, devoted to helping clients achieve optimal wellness through personalized nutrition and functional medicine. Her approach is centered on the whole person, addressing the root causes of health concerns while fostering a supportive partnership with her clients. Elana specializes in immune, brain, and gut health, all with the aim of rejuvenating the immune system and enhancing longevity.
Elana was introduced to functional medicine after personal struggles with Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV), chronic sinusitis infections, mold/mycotoxins, MARCoNs, lyme and co-infections, mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS/MCAD), vagus nerve dysfunction, multiple assaults to her immune system and various gastrointestinal conditions like food allergies, multiple food poisoning, GERD/acid reflux, IBS, intestinal permeability and SIBO.
Practicing a root cause oriented functional medicine approach, Elana guides her clients by addressing factors that may be causing various symptoms. Utilizing knowledge of biochemical pathway physiology and co-factors needed to maintain optimal balance, she assesses and evaluates each client's needs. Providing a personalized approach, Elana dons her detective glasses to search for answers through cellular health, methylation/detoxification, digestion/absorption/utilization, viral/pathogen/heavy metal burden, microbial overgrowth, oral, sinus/nasal and gut biome, diet and lifestyle.
Elana's passion for nutrition and lifestyle balance grew through her own healing journey. Her curiosity continues to drive her thirst for knowledge as we continue to understand the role nutrition and lifestyle play within our genetic and epigenetic expression. She approaches each client with a personalized nutrition and lifestyle plan, effectively supporting goals towards optimal health.
